So, you have no idea what to get him for Valentine’s Day, right? You’re in luck! Not only are guys super-easy to please, you’re in the right place for some guidance and my gift ideas!
Here I’ll post and discuss some things I’ve personally used and loved over the years to help you find a little something for Dad, boyfriend, husband, or any other guy I’m not thinking of at the moment.
I’m admittedly an Amazon junkie, much to the dismay of my wife. Here are some things I’ve enjoyed over the years that are low-cost so that you don’t break the bank.
My 10 Low-Cost Gift Ideas, in no particular order:
1. ratchet / slide belt
$28.98 I have two of these and I love them – one in black and one in grey. No more fooling with useless notches in belts as this one just ratchets to your exact size – whether it be your summer “in shape” bod, or those winter months when us Dads perfect our winter coat of fat protection.
2. Multi-Device Keyboard
$29.99 I use this both at home and at work. This keyboard allows you to control one device with the 2.4GHz adapter, as well as two other Bluetooth devices. With a press of a button, you seamlessly transition from typing your computer to any Bluetooth device, like Android or iPhone. Also it’s rechargeable, and only needs charging about twice a year!
3. portable air compressor
$32.98 This little guy has come in CLUTCH when needed! If you’re in the middle of nowhere or just don’t have access to a regular compressor, this is your little buddy! Just set the level of air you want in your tire and let ‘er fly. Obviously this only works on slow leaks; if you have a hole, patch it first – patch kits are cheap at the Walmarts.
4. Multi-connection Card Reader
$14.99 This is super handy for reading trail cam pictures right on your phone, no matter if it’s iPhone (lightning) or Android (usb-c / micro-usb). I use it more for viewing drone photography and transferring those files to my PC. Love this thing!
5. Mr. Heater
$74.00 Even if the temperature is below freezing, this little heater will RUN YOU OUT of your deer stand or tent! Is it “extra?” Yes. Is it also amazing? YES. If you get this for your guy and he doesn’t like it, immediately revoke his man-card.
6. 200w Bluetooth Stereo
$39.99 Does he have these old speakers laying around that “he’s gonna use one day?” Here’s your solution. It uses AM/FM, SD/USB, and Bluetooth, as well as aux line in. I have this hooked up in the garage (with an Echo Dot) to these two old speakers I refused to trash over the years. I walk in and say “Alexa, shuffle Metallica” and it’s on!
7. Silicone Ring 4-pack
$17.99 If he ever works with his hands, these are great for safety and protection, as metal rings can get caught on machinery and completely deglove a finger (yes, that means what it sounds like, no do not Google that). There are a variety of colors so he can feel fancy as heck while color-coordinating for the day! Or just use one and have backups like I do.
8. Laptop Backpack
$58.12 I got this to carry my laptop, DJI Drone, and GoPro while traveling so I could be ready to spring into action if I saw something cool to film. I also use it for a 1-2 night bag instead of a suitcase when I can because it’s comfortable and has just the right amount of room in it. The laptop area is cushy and protective, and the back is completely TSA compliant.
9. Wyze Lock
$83.99 If your home has wifi and your door has a deadbolt, this is awesome to have. You can schedule locks and unlocks, unlock when you get home and lock when you leave, and lock after X minutes of being unlocked. I have mine set to 30 minutes so even if I forget to lock the door, I don’t. Also the keypad to get in can have multiple codes, so you can give out a temporary one that you can revoke later if needed. The best part? It’s all wireless!
10. Laser/Light PewPew combo
$26.69 This is nice to have when in the woods at dark or when you want to pretend you’re John Wick in the home (be safe with guns, y’all!). It attaches to any Picatinny rail and the laser has adjustments for sighting in.
